New club call CERT.

Marshfield is starting a club called CERT. Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), is a national program of volunteers trained in disaster preparedness and emergency response. People who take CERT are trained to:  extinguish small fires, conduct light search and rescue, assist those who are injured, set up medical treatment areas

Volunteers come from all ages and all walks of life, including teenagers! Teen CERT training teaches you about the potential disasters that could affect your area and how to safely and responsibly respond to them.  At Marshfield, the CERT training schedule will be:  Every Wednesday & Thursday from 3:30 – 5:00 during the months of January and February

If you are interested in applying to this new club and becoming certified in CERT, see Mr. Hill or Ms. Sanders for an application. Hurry, because applications are due by the end of the week and only 30 students will be accepted!
